Accused caught in police custody
The Jagraon police of Ludhiana have arrested two youths smuggling drugs. 60 drug bullets have been recovered from the possession of the accused. The arrested accused have been identified as Jagseer Singh alias Jagga and Rajinder Kumar.

The police team was on patrol under the leadership of bus stand outpost in -charge Sukhwinder Singh. On the railway overbridge, Kothe Khajura Road, two youths were found standing on a bike without number plate. The police asked for bike papers on suspicion. The accused could not show the papers.
Case of smuggling already registered
During the search, 60 drug bullets were received from the accused. During interrogation, Rajinder Kumar said that a case of intoxication has been registered on him earlier. The accused admitted that the bike number plate was deliberately removed to escape from the police.
The police have produced both the accused in the court. The police hope that other smugglers and medical stores supplying drug bullets may be detected during the interrogation. The police is investigating the bike papers and sought documents from the family of the accused.
