Campaign campaign on DGP’s instructions
The campaign was carried out on the instructions of Punjab’s DGP Gaurav Yadav. The team took action on the orders of AIG Avneet Kaur of Counter Intelligence Bathinda and Jatindra Singh Mand, AIG of Anti Narcotics Task Force. The team led by Deputy Captain Gurpreet Singh arrested both the accused on the basis of suspicious activities.
Both accused continue to be questioned
Both the accused have been taken to Mohali. A case has been registered against him under sections 21C, 61, 85 of the NDPS Act. Police are interrogating from where this consignment of heroin was brought from during the remand. ASI Kulbir Singh, Tarsem Singh, HC Mandeep Singh and other policemen were present in the car.
