At least two people were killed and six others were injured in a shooting on the Greek island of Crete on Saturday. The officers provided this information. The shooting allegedly stemmed from an old family feud, officials said.
He said the incident began shortly after 11 a.m. in the village of Vorizia, 52 kilometers south of Heraklion, the island’s largest city. Police said in a statement that two people, a man and a woman, died in the firing. Six other injured people were taken to hospital, local emergency service EKAB said in a statement.
