Two Indians killed after terrorist attack on construction site in southwest Niger, one kidnapped

The Indian Embassy in Niger said that at least two Indian migrant workers were killed in a terrorist attack in the southwest region of Niger, Niger, on Tuesday, while another was kidnapped. In a ‘X’ post, the embassy said that it is in touch with the local authorities to send the body of those killed in the attack, as well as efforts are being made to locate the abducted Indian citizen. However, the Indian Embassy did not give any details about the killed or abducted person during the terrorist attack.

Local media reports reported that the attack took place in Doso, about 130 km from the capital nominee, where some unknown gunmen attacked a construction site and attacked a military unit deployed in security.
