Two Indians, who came for a holiday in Singapore, were sentenced to five years and one month prison and 12 calendar in the case of robbing and attacking two sex workers in hotel rooms.

According to the news of ‘The Straits Times’, 23 -year -old Arokkiasamy Dyson and 27 -year -old Rajendran Mayilarson confessed to robbing the victims and deliberately hurting them.

The court was told that Arokkiasamy and Rajendran had come to Singapore on 24 April to holiday from India. Two days later, when he was walking in the ‘Little India’ area, an unknown man came to him and asked him if he needed sexual services. After this, the man informed them about two women.

Arokkiyasamy told Rajendran that he needed money and suggested that he could contact women and call them in a hotel room and rob them on which Rajendran agreed.

He called a woman in a hotel room at around six in the evening that day and tied her hands and feet with clothes and slapped her. They looted her jewelry, 2,000 Singapuri dollars, her passport and her bank card.

At around 11 pm the same night, he decided to meet another woman in another hotel. When she arrived, she dragged her arms to rob her and Rajendran shut her mouth so that she could not scream.

He snatched 800 Singapuri dollars, two mobile phones and his passport from him and threatened him that he did not come out of the room until he came back.

The misdeeds of Arokkiyasamy and Rajendran were revealed when a woman told another person the next day after which the police was informed.
