After the entry of Elon Musk, some new change is happening in Twitter every day. The company has changed the account suspension policy. The company gave information about this on Friday. The new change is effective from February 1. Under this, users will be able to appeal about their account suspension. To restore the account will be reviewed under the social media platform’s new criteria. Under the new criteria, a Twitter account can be suspended only for repeated violations of the platform.

Accounts may also be suspended in case of serious policy violations. Serious policy violations include things like illegal content or activity, threatening or harming someone, and harassment. Twitter says that serious action will be taken in less cases in the near future. Instead of suspending an account, the social media platform will reduce its reach in the future. Or users may have to delete a tweet. The company may ask to delete the tweet before using the account.

Elon Musk had been opposed to the account suspension since the time of the Twitter deal. After the deal was completed, several popular accounts that were previously banned or suspended have been restored. The name of former US President Donald Trump is also included in this list. Recently, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut’s account has also been restored. Kangana’s account was banned almost two years ago. Elon Musk is constantly making many changes in Twitter.
