There is good news for Twitter users. If you want to post a long tweet and are unable to do so due to limited space, then don’t worry, the company is going to change the rules soon. The latest news is that now users will be able to post tweets of up to 10,000 characters. Till now Twitter users are able to tweet only in 240 characters, but soon they will get the freedom to write in 10,000 characters. Elon Musk himself has given this information in reply to a tweet. Elon Musk has not told whether the feature of tweeting in 10,000 characters will be a part of paid i.e. Twitter Blue. Twitter CEO Elon Musk said on Monday that the platform will soon increase tweets to 10,000 characters. Musk replied that we are soon increasing the tweets to 10,000. Twitter Blue subscribers in the US can tweet up to 4,000 characters.

This is the second time in Twitter’s 16-year history.

This is the second time in Twitter’s 16-year history that the tweeting limit is being extended. In 2017, Twitter increased the 140 character limit to 280 characters. At the same time, the dismissal of employees from Twitter continues. The platform is thus in no position to protect its users from misinformation and even child sexual abuse. Twitter’s former and current employees said the mass layoffs are not properly maintaining the tools designed to protect Twitter users from harassment.
