Actually, US President Donald Trump recently signed an executive order. Under this, the H1B visa fee was suddenly reduced to one million dollars. That is, 88 lakh rupees, whereas earlier this fee used to be 1500 to 4000 dollars i.e. 2 to 4 lakhs. But now it has increased directly to about 88 lakh rupees. The Trump administration argues that foreigners are eating Americans’ jobs.

This sudden change caused chaos in the industry. Initially, companies felt that their current employees would also be affected and they advised their people to stay in America immediately. Later it became clear that these rules would apply only to the new visa application. Now the question is, why did these decisions affect Indians the most? Indeed, India has been a country to take advantage of H1B visa for a long time, especially for IT and technology professionals. Every year thousands of Indian engineers, doctors and researchers go to America by H1B visa. If the rules are strict or banned, it will directly affect India’s IT sector or Indian talent.
