Today there is a possibility of ‘Black Mande’
Due to Trump’s tariff, there is a decline in markets around the world. On 6 April, American TV presenter and market analyst Jim Kramer warned that the markets could see a major decline again on Monday 7 April. He called it blood-bath.
It is being linked to the 1987 Black Mande, as on 19 October 1987, the world’s stock markets witnessed the biggest decline in a single day. The US’s Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) declined by 22.6%, which is the biggest one day’s decline in history to date. The decline started from the US, but soon spread to Australia, Britain, Canada and Asian markets.
