President Donald Trump said on Friday after the “highly inflammatory statement” was given by former Russian President Damitri Medvedev that he has ordered two American nuclear submarines to be deployed in appropriate areas.
Trump said in a post on social media that on the basis of Medvedev’s “highly inflammatory statements”, he has ordered to deploy two nuclear submarines in appropriate areas so that these inflammatory statements do not take a serious stand.
The President said, “The correct use of words is very important and often it can have serious consequences. I hope it will not be repeated again.” However, it could not immediately clear what effect Trump’s order would have on the American nuclear submarines. These submarines regularly patrol the most sensitive areas of the world, but this decision of Trump administration has brought a new round in relations with Russia.
Trump called Medvedev “a failed former President of Russia” and also warned him of “focusing on the use of his words”. Medvedev was the President of Russia from 2008 to 2012.
