Trump meets leaders of Gulf countries in ‘White House’

US President Donald Trump met leaders of two Gulf countries in ‘White House’. The meeting took place at a time when the violence between Israel and Syria has again raised questions on Trump’s resolve to establish peace in West Asia.

Trump held a meeting with Yuvraj Salman bin Hamad al -Khalifa of Bahrain in ‘Oval Office’ on Wednesday and performed a banquet with Qatar Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Sani.

Amid the ongoing struggle in Gaza and other burning problems of the region, Trump focused more on promoting diplomatic relations through economic development. During the meeting with Bahrain’s crown prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Trump said at the Oval Office, “We helped him whatever he wanted.” And whatever we wanted, they (in) helped us. ”

Bahrain is an old ally that hosts the fifth fleet in West Asia. The main mission of this fleet is to ensure marine security and stability in West Asia. Qatar’s Prime Minister Sani was in ‘White House’ for dinner with Trump on Wednesday evening.
