Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday welcomed the announcement of a comprehensive plan by US President Donald Trump to end the Gaza struggle and said that he hoped that all the concerned parties would unite behind the initiative of President Trump and support this effort to end the conflict and ensure peace. Prime Minister Modi’s statement came only a few hours after the White House released Trump’s plan to end the Israel-Hamas war and the Gaza rule. However, there is no information about whether Israel or Hamas has accepted the agreement submitted by the US administration.

Meanwhile, Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday that they had agreed to the plan to end the war in Gaza, but it is not clear whether Hamas would accept these conditions. Trump on Monday introduced a 20-point plan to end the Israel-Hamas war and set up a temporary glory board in the war-torn Palestinian region, headed by Trump and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. In this scheme, people do not need to quit Gaza and if both sides accept it, the war has been called to end immediately. It also states that all the rest of the hostages will be released by Hamas within 72 hours of Israel’s accepting the plan.

Trump said that if Hamas does not accept the proposed peace agreement, Israel will get full support of the US to defeat it. At the beginning of a press conference with Netanyahu, where he gave details of the plan, Trump said I think we have reached very close. Our work has not been completed yet. We have to defeat Hamas. Netanyahu said that if Hamas rejects your plan, the President, or if he accepts it and then makes every effort to counter it, Israel itself will complete this work.
