US President Donald Trump has formally extended the deadline to keep the social media app ticket available in the US till 16 December. This has given time to complete the outline of the agreement announced on Monday after talks between American and Chinese government officials.
Trump issued an executive order for the fourth time on Tuesday, by ignoring the federal law, a deadline has been extended to sell or face a ban to an American company for tickets related to China. The original time limit was 19 January this year, that is, a day before Trump took an oath of second term.
Trump was asked about the agreement on Tuesday that he had announced a day earlier and reiterated that he would discuss tickets with Chinese President Xi Chinifung on Friday.
He said that some companies want to buy a social media app owned by Bittens and will be informed about its potential contenders soon.
