US President Donald Trump said that he has decided to reduce the duty rates on imports of Chinese goods to 47 percent after talks with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping.
Trump said in a conversation with reporters that after talks he has decided to reduce the current rate from 57 percent. The US President had threatened to drastically increase tariffs before the meeting. However, after the meeting he told journalists that he did not need to do so.
