The Trump administration has withdrawn the amount of California’s bullet train project, which has increased uncertainty about how the state administration will be able to fulfill its old promise of the project between San Francisco and Los Angeles.
The US Transport Department said that it was withdrawing four billion US dollars of the project. However, he had indicated this a few weeks ago.
A less than one-fourth of the amount was given by the federal government for the project, while the remaining amount was provided by the state government. Both President Donald Trump and Transport Minister Sean Dafi strongly criticized the project and described it as “no train going anywhere”. Trump said in a post on social media, “The railroad which we were promised has not made till date and will never be made.”
