5 decisions were taken in the meeting

1. The Indus Water Treaty of 1960 will remain postponed with immediate effect until Pakistan stops supporting terrorism across the border.
2. The integrated check post attic will be closed with immediate effect.
3. Pakistani citizens traveling under the SARC Visa Rebate Scheme will no longer be allowed to do so.
4. Defense, Navy and air advisors of Pakistani High Commission will be declared unwanted persons.
5. The total number of High Commission will be reduced from 55 to 30.

The Foreign Minister also said that it was absolutely clear that after the first steps approved by the Cabinet Committee of Security Affairs, India’s response to the Pahalgam attack would not stop here. From a diplomatic point of view, from the perspective of foreign policy, our task was to shape the global understanding of the Pahalgam attack. What we tried to do was that we should expose the long use of Pakistan’s cross -border terrorism in front of the international community. We highlighted the history of terrorism in Pakistan and explained how this special attack was carried out to target the economy of Jammu and Kashmir and create communal feud among the people of India.
