Transport department’s raw employee will strike from 20 to three days – Jalandhar News

Punjab Roadways, Panbas and PRTC Contract Workers Union have once again announced a struggle against the Punjab government. Union’s Suba Pradhan Resham Gill said that if the government did not solve their demands by May 19, then a full strike will be done for three days on 20, 21, 22 May.

The union said that from time to time, there is a struggle on their demands on behalf of the raw workers of the department. But the Punjab government and officials do not want our demands to be accepted.

After the Akali government, Congress government, their demands are not being solved even in the Aam Aadmi Party government. He said that whenever there is a crisis in Punjab, only raw people in Punjab Roadways play their duty.

In Punjab, only the passengers of the Transport Department are taking the passengers from one place to another even in the floods, Corona period and now the Indo-Pakistan stressful atmosphere.

Secretary Shamsher Singh Dhillon, Joint Secretary Jagtar Singh, Cashier Baljit Singh, Ramandeep Singh said that the Chief Minister had assured that the committee was constituted and other demands will be met and other demands to ensure raw people and other demands have not been met yet.

Recently, Punjab Transport Department has also held a meeting with the Minister, Secretary, Director and Advocate General, but the demands have not been met yet. Now if the demands are not solved by May 19, then there will be a strike for three days on 20, 21, 22 May and on 22 May, there will be a sit -in outside the Chief Minister’s release.

Still the demands are not met, then there will be a strong demonstration. Baljinder Singh Brar, Jagjit Singh Libra, Gurpreet Singh Pannu were present on this occasion. Officials of Punjab Roadways and Panbas and PRTC Contract Worker Union present during the meeting.
