For the first time in Bihar, zonal archery competition ‘Khelo India NTPC Zonal Archery Tournament 2025’ is being organized in Pataliputra Sports Complex from 12 to 14 September. This was informed in a press conference organized in a press conference organized in the presence of Director General of Bihar State Sports Authority Mr. Ravindra Nath Chaudhary, Executive Director cum Secretary Mr. Ravindra Nath Chaudhary, Deputy Director Mr. Himanshu Singh, Sports Executive Mr. Anandi Kumar and Secretary of Bihar Archery Association, Mr. Manoj Kumar, Secretary of Bihar Archery Association.

In this archery competition, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa Chhattisgarh, West Bengal and SPSB, RSB, CSEB, a total of 350 participants/trainers/manager/technical officials are participating in it. The players have 200 male and 120 female participants. A total of 72 players including 36 men from Bihar are participating in a total of 72 players. Teams of Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa Chhattisgarh, West Bengal and SPSB, RSB, CSEB are participating in the competition.
In the competition, there will be competition of recurve women and male class compound women and men. In this competition, Madhumita Kumari, Asian Games Medalist, World Cup player Anshika Kumari, Bihar, Asian player Juel Sarkar, Basanti Mahato Rimal Hembram Deepti Kumari Goldie Mishra along with several national level players are participating. Successful players will also be given cash prizes along with trophy. A total prize money of ₹ 200000 will be distributed prize, in which ₹ 20000 is given ₹ 15000 to III ₹ 10000 and ₹ 5000 to IV.

This competition is being organized under the joint aegis of Sports Department of Sports Department of Bihar, Bihar State Sports Authority and Bihar Archery Association. The housing and food of all joining it is being made by the Sports Department and the Bihar State Sports Authority.
