World number three badminton player Suhas today lost to France’s El Majour 21-15, 17-21, 15-21 in the men’s singles SL4 event gold medal match despite hard work. However, despite this defeat, they have made history for India in this tournament.
It is to be mentioned that they played three matches in the group stage before winning the semi-final on Saturday and their performance in all but one match was excellent. In the semi-finals, Suhas defeated Freddie Setiawan of Indonesia 21-9, 21-15.
