Tokyo Olympics: PM Modi and President Kovind praise Aditi Ashok’s stellar performance

Indian golfer Aditi Ashok has done well in the Tokyo Olympics. However, she missed out on a medal and finished fourth in the final. But she has become the best performing golfer for India in the Olympics.

Many celebrities including President Ram Nath Kovind, PM Narendra Modi, Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur have also congratulated Aditi for his outstanding performance.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that although Aditi Ashok did not win a medal, she managed to set an example with her performance.

Modi tweeted, “Aditi played very well. You showed a lot of skill and determination in Tokyo 2020. You missed out on the medal by a small margin, but you have gone far beyond what any Indian has achieved so far and you have set an example. Best wishes for the future. ”

Congratulating Aditi, President Ram Nath Kovind said, “Aditi Ashok played well, another daughter of India made her mark! You have taken Indian golf to new heights with today’s historic performance.
