The Aam Aadmi Party of Punjab (AAP) Government will introduce a bill in the Vidhan Sabha in today’s disrespectful scriptures. The bill can be named by the Punjab Holy Granth (Crime Prevention) Act, 2025. He could be sentenced to 10 years in prison for 10 years. If there is an violence caused by the disrespect, the punishment in such a situation could be from life imprisonment.

The specific, this law will apply not only on Sri Guru Granth Sahib, but also the disrespect of Shri Guru Gita, Kran Sharif and the sacred Bible disrespect.
According to the information, if a person tries to disrespect, it can be a penalty for the fullest, but it can be a sentence to 3 to 5 years. At the same time, if a person conspiracy to hinder or inciting the religious rites, he can also be punished under this law.
A system may be made in the act that if a minor or mentally unable person disrespect, his parents or guardians will also be considered partners in crime. If they are convicted of failing to control him or negligence, the legal action will be taken against them. In most cases of disrespectful cases, the accused was survived by saying that he was mentally unable.
There is a system in this law that he disrespect of any of the holy granth of any religion, can be sentenced to at least 10 years imprisonment and maximum imprisonment.
If communal tension spread due to the incident. In which one died or causes public or private property, the accused can be kept in prison from the age of 20 to life imprisonment (from natural death). At the same time, he may be a fine of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh.
The law also provides any authority to provide life imprisonment or more punishment in the case of disrespect, whether they may have to be in prison, no matter what they have a long time. If a person is already guilty of this crime and rehabilitates again, he can be sentenced to his death directly to his death, no matter how old he is.
If a scribe, readter, Ragi, Mulls, Malvi or pastors who are engaged in religious service, can be severely punished. This logic may be that they are expected to protect the holy texts. If they take the wrong move, they can get harmful punishments than others.
The state government can authorize to make special courts on this law. These can include the session judge or additional sessions judge. The responsibility of the investigation can be given to the DSP or higher rank officer. With this in mind that the culprits were in timely sentence, 60 days can be set for the probe.
