Today is the last day to withdraw nominations for the Tarn Taran by-election. After this election campaigning will intensify in Tarn Taran and political activities will also intensify. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is reaching Tarn Taran today. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab affairs in-charge Manish Sisodia will accompany him and urge people to vote for the party.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Manish Sisodia and Punjab State President and Cabinet Minister Aman Arora will reach Sokhi Garden on Amritsar Road in the afternoon. They will interact with party workers and prepare election strategies.
It may be mentioned that the party has given ticket to Harmeet Singh. Harmeet Singh has been an MLA from this constituency for three times. This is not the first time that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is running for the by-election. Recently candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu filed his nomination and meanwhile Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann himself reached here and held a rally to show his strength.

Let us tell that this seat AAP MLA Dr. Kashmir was vacant after the death of Singh Sohal. Voting will be held on November 11 and counting on November 14. All four major parties have fielded their candidates.
Among them, Harmeet Singh Sandhu from AAP, Karanbir Singh Burj from Congress, Sukhwinder Kaur Randhawa from Akali Dal, Harjit Singh Sandhu from BJP and Mandeep Singh from Akali Dal heir of Punjab are contesting the elections.
