‘Time not to handle the situation, not to be confused …’, the High Court did not listen to the floods on the floods in Punjab

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has dismissed the public interesting petition (PIL) filed by floods in Punjab and Haryana. The court said that at present, the officials are engaged in the ground and rescue operations at the ground. It will not be right to expect to file an affidavit at the moment.

Chief Justice Shil Nagu has been dismissed this affidavit. He said – “At present, the officials are dealing with the situation at the ground level. If we hear it, they will have to sit and prepare the anofwit.”

The petitioner claimed that a timely warning was not issued in the lower areas, after leaving water from Bhakra, Pong, and other dams. The Sutlej and the banks built on the banks of the rivers and canal weakened, which should have been strong. Delay in relief and rescue operations had to hinder thousands of villages and government help was not accessing several villages. The petition appeared to the High Court to compensate the affected farmers and villagers immediately and determine the responsibility of negligeless officers.

The High Court clarified the priority ground condition at present, and the authorities do not have to confuse the judicial action. Therefore, the court refused to take immediate hearing on this publicly petition and dismissed it.
