Tension continues between India and America these days. Several rounds have been discussed. But in any case, India is not allowing America to do its own arbitrariness. In this meeting, both countries have not reached any concrete result in the meetings so far. However, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar also spoke on the issue. Jaishankar made it clear that in conversation on trade with America, farmers and small producers of IndiaInterests are at the top. He said that India will never compromise its Red Line, whether it is about the interests of farmers or strategic autonomy. Regarding trade with the US, the Foreign Minister said that the negaadation is still going on. But we have some red lines.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar described Donald Trump’s foreign policy as unprecedented and said that the world has never received any US President who has conducted foreign policy publicly like the current President. Speaking at a media program in Delhi, Jaishankar said that this is a change in itself which is not limited to India only. The way President Trump’s way of treating the world, even his country, is very different in a traditional conservative way. Jaishankar reiterated that the US had no arbitration in ending the four-day India-Pakistan struggle in May, which was contrary to Trump’s repeated claims.

He said that on the issue of mediation (Indo-Pak struggle), since the 1970s, i.e. for more than 50 years, there is a national consensus in the country that we do not accept mediation in our relations with Pakistan. On the issue of the US imposing 50 percent tariffs on Indian goods, Jaishankar said that the interests of domestic farmers are paramount in any business talks. When it comes to business, it comes to the interests of farmers, when it comes to our strategic autonomy, when it comes to opposition to mediation, this government is very clear.
