Security forces have arrested three suspected drug smugglers with about 10 kg of brown sugar in Kangpokpi district of Manipur. Police gave this information on Thursday. He said that all three were arrested on Wednesday from Alex Farm under Kangpokpi police station area.
Acting on a tip-off, security forces seized 9.8 kg brown sugar worth more than Rs 1 crore which was hidden in 225 soap boxes, a police officer said. He said that further investigation is going on regarding the recovery.
