Those who spread chaos during festivals will get such punishment that generations will remember: Yogi Adityanath

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Sunday that strict action will be taken against those who try to disturb the peace and there will be such consequences of any chaotic act which will be remembered by generations to come. The Chief Minister was speaking at an event here after inaugurating and laid the foundation stone of several development projects.

Adityanath said, if someone tries to create a ruckus during the joy and enthusiasm of the festivals, then he will have to pay such a price that the future generations will remember. He said, “Some people live in India but promote anti -national activities within India by raising the slogan of Gajwa -e -Hind.”

Adityanath said, Gajwa-e-Hind will not be allowed to be on the land of India. The imagination or dreaming of Gajwa-e-Hind will also make the path of hell. If someone wants to go to hell, he should show him by trying to spread chaos in the name of Gajwa-e-Hind. Warning of strict action against those who violate the law, the Chief Minister said that the government will not tolerate chaos.

He said, whoever tries to take the law into his own hands, whoever attacks a passerby, who will try to play with the safety of a daughter, and … whoever will stone pelting during the festivals, we will give him a unilateral ticket of hell.

He warned this after a violent clash on 26 September in Bareilly. After the prayers of Jumme, the mob was assaulted by the police with a poster of Love Muhammad outside a mosque in the Kotwali area. The mob was allegedly angry at the cancellation of a proposed protest by local cleric Tauqir Raza Khan.
