Addressing the Parivartan rally in Bhojpur in Bihar, Prashant Kishore, the founder of Jan Suraj, said that our only goal is that the people of Bihar will be number one this time, Lalu Yadav, Nitish Kumar and PM Modi will all go down. This will not win the victory of Prashant Kishore or Jan Suraj, it will be the victory of the public. He said that people who have been living in poverty for 30-35 years due to corruption, robbery of leaders, whose children remain illiterate, whose children have become laborers, have now woken up. Everyone has decided that a new system for education and employment has to be brought in Bihar.

Earlier, Prashant Kishore criticized former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, questioned his political credibility and claimed that he was in the post due to his father Lalu Prasad Yadav. In a special interview with ANI, Kishore said that Tejashwi Yadav lacks independent political identity and credibility. He further emphasized that Tejashwi would not have any significant identity without his father’s name.
Taking a sarcasm at Tejashwi, he asked, “Tejashwi Yadav is the son of Lalu Yadav. Whatever is Tejashwi is because of Lalu Yadav. If Lalu Yadav is not named, what is his identity for you?” Kishore argued that Tejashwi’s position is only because of his descent, not because of his achievements or abilities. He said that there are many young leaders in the Yadav society who have more capacity than Tejashwi.

He said that you said that Tejashwi Yadav is a young leader. There are many young leaders. Yadav is more young leader in society. But the foundation on which they are now is not because they have achieved anything. He is in this position only because he is the son of Lalu Yadav. Kishore highlighted that RJD supremo Lalu Yadav’s popularity has reduced considerably in the last few years. He won the election only once in 1995 and since then the number of MPs has been steadily declining.
