Drug trafficking banned in border villages
He said that with the help of these committees, drug trafficking will be banned in the border villages. The governor appealed to women to come forward against drugs. He said that women along with the administration should eliminate the problem of intoxication from home and society. Kataria also distributed sports kits to members of the committees.

Members of village defense committees of several villages including Mardi Kalan, Sohia Kalan, Anayat Pura, Pandher Khurd, Mehndipur, Johal, Bogowal were present in the program. During the anti -intoxication march, the Governor said that just as Punjabi gives a befitting reply to external attacks, they will win against drug addicts.
