These legends said on Rohit-Kohli’s Test retirement, questions raised on BCCI

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been in constant discussion since retirement from the test.At the moment, no reason came to the fore for why these two players took such a decision suddenly. However, it was discussed in the cricket corridor as Rohit and Kohli could play a few days in the biggest format of cricket.

Talking about the sudden retirement from the Test of Kohli-Rohit, former Team India fast bowler Karsan Ghawari admitted that both these veterans could be dropped from the Test team. He said that Kohli could have been in at least two years and the Test team, but later he emphasized how BCCI did not even bid farewell to one of India’s best cricketers.

When asked about Kohli’s sudden retirement on the Vicky Lalwani show, Ghavri said that this is a mystery. They must have continued to play easily for India perhaps for the next few years, but I think something forced them to retire and unfortunately when they retired, the BCCI did not even bid farewell to them.

He further said that such players who did so much for Indian cricket, served the country should have been given a great farewell. At the same time, he also claimed that both Rohit and Kohli have been victims of internal politics of Indian team management. Ghavri said that this is the internal politics of BCCI which is difficult to understand and I think they retired prematurely.

Karsan further said that even Rohit Sharma retired ahead of time as he was asked to go out. He finally said that it is not that he wanted to go. They wanted to continue to play, but the views of the selectors and the BCCI were different. This is a matter of completely cheap politics. Let me tell you that there is speculation about Rohit and Kohli’s ODI future.
