There will be India-Mauritius relations and strong: President Murmu expressed confidence by meeting PM Ramgulam

President Draupadi Murmu met Mauritius Prime Minister Naveen Chandra Ramgulam at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Tuesday. During this time the two leaders emphasized the unique and permanent bilateral relations between New Delhi and Port Louis. In a post published on X by Rashtrapati Bhavan, the two leaders accepted the relationship between the two countries, which lies in their shared history, language, culture and values. President Murmu expressed confidence in the leadership experience of Prime Minister Ramgulam and said that these relationships would be even stronger in future.

The post released by Rashtrapati Bhavan said that Mauritius Prime Minister Naveen Chandra Ramgulam met President Draupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The two leaders agreed that relations between our two countries are unique, which lies in our common history, language, culture and values. The President expressed confidence that with the widespread leadership experience of Prime Minister Ramgulam, the long-term bilateral relations of India-Moricus would be even stronger in the coming times.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Ramgulam paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat in the national capital under the concluding phase of his eight -day bilateral visit to India. After paying tribute to the Mahatma Gandhi memorial, Ramgulam also signed the visitor book in Rajghat. The Prime Minister of Mauritius reached New Delhi on Monday, where he was received by Union Minister of State for Defense Sanjay Seth.

Sharing this information on social media, Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said in a post on X, “Mauritius Prime Minister Naveen Ramgulam has reached New Delhi. He was warmly welcomed by Minister of State for Defense Sanjay Seth at the airport.” Before coming to the national capital, Ramgulam visited the Tirumala temple in Tirupati. He also participated in a program at Brahmarshi Ashram, where he was welcomed by spiritual guru Siddhaguru Sideshwar Brahmadevi Gurudev Swami. Ramgulam is currently on an official visit to India from 9 September to 16 September, during which he will participate in many political, cultural and spiritual programs.
