Actress Deepshikha Nagpal recently spoke openly about her change in television for her roles in Bollywood hit films like Coal, Badshah, Dillagi and Partner. In an interview with instant Bollywood, he revealed that he was classified into the industry due to some wrong film options, inspiring him to take a decision to find opportunities on the small screen.
When asked which role he regrets to play, Deepshikha said that he loves all the characters and roles he played, as he is extremely emotional about his work. Although acting was never a part of her initial plan, and she came to the industry incidentally, but once she became an actress, she pushed her everything in it. Considering his career, he admitted to choosing some wrong options while choosing films, but he said that he never disliked any role he played.
A look at Deepshikha Nagpal’s love life
Deepshikha Nagpal first married actor Jeet Upendra in 1997. A decade later the two separated in 2007 and have two children, Vedika and Vivaan Upendra. In 2012, she married actor Keshav Arora, but her marriage broke up in 2016, four years later.
In an interview with Instant Bollywood recently, Deepshikha Nagpal spoke openly about her ideas about marriage, saying that she had no hesitation in getting married many times. He said, “I can marry three times, four times, I am not ashamed of it. At least I am living my life.”

The actress also considered the early stages of her film career, admitted that her participation in some B-grade films had a permanent impact on her professional image. “I don’t want to name those films – I don’t want to hurt anyone – but at that time, we did not know how to choose the right choice. We had no godfather to guide,” he explained.

Beyond films, Deepshikha Nagpal has appeared in many television shows and has worked with some of Bollywood’s biggest names. He worked with Shahrukh Khan in the action thriller coal directed by Rakesh Roshan in 1997. Impressed by his performance, Shah Rukh Khan later recommended him for the 1999 film Badshah directed by Abbas-Mastan.
His other credits include films like Dillagi (1999) and Partner (2008) and popular television shows like Shaktimaan, CID, Sonpari and Bigg Boss 8.

Deepshikha explained how acting was not considered a “respected” profession, and meditation was completely on craft. “Acting was not a profession earlier; it was not a respected job. Now, everyone wants to become an actor; they want vanity vans and staff. I have seen Shah Rukh Khan working in coal. Then there was no vanity van. He used to sleep there amidst coal mine machinery and flashing lights.
