Maharashtra Political Crisis: Amidst the ongoing political upheaval in Maharashtra, the Governor of Maharashtra was told by the Home Minister’s office that the Maharashtra Police is ready to deal with any law and order issue. The rule is applicable in different parts of the state. Anyone trying to disturb the peace will be dealt with in accordance with the law.
The Home Minister’s office further said, ‘Today there has been no major incident of deteriorating law and order situation in the state. Adequate security has been provided at the offices and homes of all the MLAs who have gone to Guwahati. The security of the MLAs who went to Guwahati was never withdrawn. ,
The Maharashtra Police is on alert and geared up to deal with any law and order issue which, (if at all ) arises. Prohibitory orders are in force in various parts of the State. Anybody trying to disrupt peace will be dealt with as per the law. @CMOMaharashtra

Actually on Saturday 25 June Eknath Shinde The group had written a letter to the Union Home Secretary and the Governor urging them to provide security. After which, in view of the deteriorating situation in the midst of political upheaval in the state, the Central Government has decided that CRPF personnel will be deployed at the homes of all the MLAs by evening. These MLAs have been given Y+ category security.
Security was also sought from Maharashtra government
Let us inform that the rebel MLAs of Shinde faction had sought security from the Maharashtra government before the central government for security for their family. However, in response to this, it was said by the state government that no cut has been made in the security of the MLAs. Along with this, instructions were also issued to deploy police force in the MLAs whose houses were ransacked. Meanwhile, Independent MP Navneet Rana had also demanded security for the families of the rebel MLAs. He said that in the current circumstances, President’s rule should be imposed in Maharashtra. However, now in view of the situation, security is being provided to the rebel MLAs by the central government.
