Even today, Yellow alert has been issued by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) in Punjab. The districts adjacent to Himachal are expected to rain with strong winds. There was no information of rain in the state on Tuesday and most of the time the sky was clear.

Due to this, on an average of 8.4 degree Celsius increased in the maximum temperature of the state on 6 May. According to IMD, the temperature of Punjab on Tuesday is about 4 degrees Celsius below normal. The highest temperature in Punjab recorded 38 degrees Celsius in Samrala.
According to the Meteorological Department, most of the districts were sunny yesterday and the sky was clear most of the time. This is the reason why the temperature increased by 8.4 degrees in a day.

Today Yellow warnings have been issued regarding rain and storms in Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Rupnagar and Mohali in Punjab. According to the IMD, winds may blow at a speed of 40 km in Il areas. While the weather is likely to be normal in the state.
On 8 April, the thunderstorm and electricity warnings are going on again in Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahar, Rupnagar, Mohali, Ferozepur.

Jalandhar- There will be a slight increase in temperature. The temperature is estimated to remain between 21 and 33 degrees.
Ludhiana- There will be a slight increase in temperature. The temperature is estimated to remain between 21.5 and 33 degrees.
Patiala- There will be a slight increase in temperature. The temperature is expected to remain between 21 and 31 degrees.
Mohali- There will be a slight increase in temperature. The temperature is estimated to remain between 23 and 30 degrees.
