Panchayat Samiti and Zila Parishad elections will now be on December 5, while before it was on October 5. These elections will be late due to floods in the state. The management secretary of the rural development, the management secretary has issued a notification by issuing a notification to be held by December 5. Let’s tell that the elections of 23 district costs and 154 blocks in the state have been pending for a long time. These elections were last in 2018.
The government first met preparations for Samiti and Situation in August. The zones were created for these options, and the process of holding the constituency was also completed. The government had earlier issued a notification on August 10, 2023, which was decided to get up from December 31 and the Total Council elections to November 25.
However, this notification was rejected after, after leaving the matter to the case. The government then completed the Panchayat elections, but the Samiti and Zhilat elections were pending. A copy of the notification issued today will be submitted to court on the next hearing on the election.

When the case arrived in the High Court for the first time, the government introduced an affidavit which was promised to hold elections by May 31. The government then started the process of restructuring of blocks and quoting the work, received an additional three months of time. In addition, the government was also asked to hold elections by October 5.
