The owner of a sweet shop in the village Bassians of Jagraon in Ludhiana was lime by the new artisan. Babani Singh, the owner of Bikaner Sweets, hired a new artisan Manoj Saran. Manoj escaped by stealing money from the owner’s house on the first day.

Owner Babani Singh held the new artisan Manoj in his rented house. Two other employees also lived there. After everyone slept, Manoj stole Rs 1.56 lakh from the cupboard. Also, one worker’s mobile and 13 thousand rupees were taken from the purse of another employee.

It was revealed when employees woke up in the morning

In the morning, when the mobile of one employee was found missing and the other’s purse was not found, the case came to light. Investigation revealed that the accused Manoj Saran is a resident of Ward No. 9 Bahmatsar of Bikaner. The victim said that he has been running a sweets shop in front of the Shitala Mata temple for the last seven months.

ASI Paramjit Singh reached the spot as soon as the police station Sadar Raikot police got information. The police have registered a case and started searching for the accused. Investigation also revealed that the accused had opened the lock of the cupboard using the key.
