In the village of Daudpur in Kapurthala, the robbery incident has come to light in broad daylight. The thieves stole cash, a mobile phone and other items worth Rs 2.9 lakh from the house of Gurbachan Singh, a resident of the village.

The incident took place today (Sunday) morning. Gurbachan Singh’s parents went to a Bhog Samagam in Jalandhar. Gurbachan locked the house at 11 am and went to his brother’s shop village Raipur Arai.
