Ajay Kumar Dwivedi, auto driver who murdered after a rape in Lucknow, was killed by the police on Friday night. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead. The police had placed a reward of one lakh rupees on Ajay today.

Ajay’s brother Dinesh was arrested by the police in the afternoon. It was Dinesh who tipped the police that his brother was hiding in Malihabad area.
After this, Crime Branch in -charge Shivanand Mishra laid siege near Deva Restaurant in Malihabad. Ajay was seen coming from the bike at around 9:30 pm. The soldiers tried to catch him by siege. Ajay was piled up due to bullet in police counter -firing. He was a resident of Basant Kunj Yojana Colony of Dubagga. The deceased woman’s mobile, a pistol, cigarette, lighter and a few rupees have been recovered from her.
On January 18, the woman was returning from Varanasi by giving paper. She landed at Alambagh bus stand in Lucknow at around 1.30 pm. Took the garden on the pretext of the lift. Attempted rape. Was strangled to death on the protest.
