Former Bihar minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav’s elder son -in -law, Pratap Yadav said on Thursday that his younger brother Tejashwi Yadav should show the same respect for him as Lord Rama got from Laxman.
The RJD was expelled Hasanpur MLA Tej Pratap when asked about the allegation that he used to raise his close supporters as a rebel candidate while in RJD. While living in RJD, Tej Pratap has been frequent with Tejashwi’s close associates, including Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Yadav. Tej Pratap has often compared him to Ajaychand – the same medieval Hindu ruler, who is said to have helped Afghan invader Mohammad Gauri to take revenge on rival Prithviraj Chauhan.
Tej Pratap also made it clear that he would contest from Mahua seat in the upcoming assembly elections. This is the same seat, which is adjacent to the Raghopur assembly constituency of Tejashwi Yadav and from where he made his debut in the 2015 assembly elections.
Reacting to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) centenary celebrations, he said, “The RSS had no role in the freedom movement. We are followers of Mahatma Gandhi. “” I have a copy of Quran Sharif, “I have a copy of” I Love Mohammed “controversy. I respect the Prophet very much. Those who are creating controversy are only spoiling the atmosphere.
