Vigilance Bureau Amritsar Range S. S. P. Varinder Singh Sandhu said that former Deputy Chief Minister Om Prakash Soni’s farmhouse, hotel and a warehouse were investigated. He said that the vigilance team reached the farmhouse and the hotel and till now the investigation is going on. He said that it may take one or two more days. In response to a question, he said that he has given his bank statement during the previous investigation regarding this matter of income exceeding income. Which is being investigated. He said that if any other property is found, it will also be assessed.

It is worth mentioning that a complaint was filed against former Deputy Chief Minister Om Prakash Soni in the past months in the case of making assets in excess of income. Based on the complaint, the Vigilance Bureau Amritsar got its investigation.

To join this investigation, the former Deputy Chief Minister reached the Bureau office, where after 3 hours of questioning by the Vigilance Bureau, O. P. A list of about 35 questions was given regarding the assets of Soni and his family. According to the time given by the Bureau, former Deputy Chief Minister O. P. Sony sent its reply to the Vigilance Bureau. The Vigilance Bureau team is now engaged in evaluation and verification.
