The Punjab Government has decided to release 10 years of good conduct prisoners who have been sentenced to life imprisonment during a year. These steps have been lifted to the purpose of providing chance to these prisoners.
Jail Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar said that the state government has made an important decision by representing its commitment to justice and rehabilitation. During the last one year period of time, the good conduct prisoners have been released to life imprisonment in various jails in Punjab.
The priority will provide the opportunity to rehabilitate and re-establish the person in the mainstream of the society. The move is a part of the winning strategy of the Punjab government to ensure that the judiciary but also makes the restructuring and reinforcement of individuals in the society.
The Cabinet Minister said that the government was aimed to encourage more human and effective access to justice for justice.
