The Supreme Court decided to give the custody of an eight -year -old girl to the mother as the girl’s father could not feed her homemade food.

The Kerala High Court allowed the girl’s mother and father to stay with the daughter 15-15 days.

In the Supreme Court, the father argued that he works in Singapore. He has rented a house in Thiruvananthapuram. He used to come from Singapore every two weeks to spend time with the daughter.

On this, the court said that homemade nutritious food should be eaten for the health and development of the girl child. The father is not in a position to nourish the girl.

The case was heard by a bench of Justice Vikram Nath, Justice Sanjay Karol and Justice Sandeep Mehta.

Court said- The girl’s house will get a lot more In its judgment, the court said that it can be asked to provide homemade food, but while staying with the father, the girl does not get any other support other than the father.

The girl’s mother is living with her parents and is working from home. Being with his father, he gets away from her three -year -old brother.

The bench said- all this is heavy on the father’s claim for the child’s custody. What the girl finds at her mother’s house is much more than the father’s custody.

Kerala High Court’s decision was very wrong The Supreme Court also expressed disappointment on the order of the Kerala High Court in which the father was ordered to give his three -year -old son custody every month for 15 days.

The court termed the order very wrong. The court said, “This will affect the health of the child because he is being separated from his mother at an early age.”

In the order, the Supreme Court allowed the father to stay with his daughter on the second and fourth Saturday-Sunday of every month and talk to the daughter on a video call two days a week.
