The 30-share BSE Sensex closed at 59,500.41 points, up 169.51 points, or 0.29 per cent, in volatile trading. The National Stock Exchange’s Nifty also closed at 17,648.95 with a gain of 44.60 points, or 0.25 percent. The mixed trend in the shares of Adani Group, which has been in discussion since the Hindenburg Research report, is being seen even today. However, selling continues to dominate today.
