The stock market continues to rise, the Sensex-Nifty open at the green mark

The stock market started the trading day with a new high today. The 30-share benchmark Sensex opened 255 points higher at 60,303 on Monday.

On the other hand, the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty opened at 17,932.20 and 63 points in early trading The Sensex was up 219.66 points at 60,268.13.

ONGC topped the list of major Nifty gainers in early trade with a gain of 2.76 per cent. Other stocks were Tata Motors, Eicher Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra All India. If we talk about the top losers, it was Davis Lab, HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra, Wipro and Tata Consumer Shares.
