Stock Market Update On 31st December 2021: The last day of the year 2021 has been great for the Indian stock market. The Sensex again crossed the 58,000 mark on the last trading day of the year. At the end of today’s trading, the Sensex closed at 58,253 with a gain of 459 points and the Nifty closed at 17,354 points with a gain of 150 points. Buying was seen in the market today in all sectors, be it banking or IT or energy. Only the oil and gas sector saw a decline.
