The spirit of ‘Postal Service- Public Service’ is being awakened through my Gramin Dak Sevaks- Jyotiraditya Scindia

New Delhi. Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia today met Gramin Dak Sevaks of 23 postal circles across the country in the capital Delhi. On this occasion, the postal servants shared the motivational stories related to their intimate experience and work. Scindia made a soulful comparison, describing the Gramin Dak Sevaks as a very important pillar of the postal department. He said, “Just as the village’s Kotwar is not only the conductor of security, but also has a spiritual connection with every house, in the same way the Gramin Dak Sevak also serves by adding a heart relationship to every house.”

The Union Communications Minister greeted the Gramin Dak Sevaks who made outstanding contribution to the postal service and thanked him for his invaluable support in nation building. He invited suggestions from all the representatives to make the departmental functioning more effective and responsible, as well as assured that they would be brought into the implementation after a thorough review of the suggestions received.

Remember his contribution to ‘Project Arrow’

Scindia, while mentioning ‘Project Arrow’, said that it has been an ambitious initiative of modernization of post offices across the country. Thousands of post offices have been strengthened technical and inferiorly under this program. He also informed that by equipped with digital equipment to Gramin Dak Sevaks, they have been empowered to provide better services to citizens in rural and remote areas.
