The social media market is expected to be worth Rs 2,200 crore by 2025

With the growing trend of influencers selling products on social media platforms, the country’s market is expected to turn over Rs 900 crore by the end of the year.

According to the report, Social media influencers Market turnover is expected to grow by 25 per cent per annum and turnover in the sector is expected to reach Rs 2,200 crore by 2025.

The report says that with the growing scope and influence of the Internet, people’s access to social media platforms has increased. In view of this, companies have started negotiating with influencers on social media to sell their products. A self-regulatory body of advertisers has also set guidelines for such ‘influencers’ on social media.
