The second day of the special session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha is the second day. The session began with the uproat. Assembly Speaker Kalatar Singh Sandhans said the session period has been extended till July 15. Let’s tell that the session was earlier on the issue of BBMB. This year, the Punjab Vidhan Sabha is being called special sessions for the second time.
Earlier, in April, when the government was controversy between Bhakra water distribution, the government had convened the Supreme Partition Meeting on May 2. After that, on May 5, a special session was held in which everyone agreed in favor of the government. At the same time, now being called a session on the issue of disrespect. However, even before Parliament had been the budget session, the Punjab government had demanded a strong law to be set up in this regard.
Today’s session was embedded. Congress MLAs are raising their volume sitting on their seats. After which the Speaker Kalatar Singh Sandhans said that both ruling party and the Opposition are one for them. Let whatever addressed, let them do this.
Finance Minister Cheema said the opposition party would now be a time to raise issues, “Finance Minister Cheema. The opposition now advised to raise important issues. In addition, Irrinder Minister Brordinder Kumar Goyal offers a proposal on the issue of CISF deployment on BBMB. He said that over last many years, the Indian government’s Home Ministry had sent a list of important installations that were not under CISF security. 2.0 The Punjab State has reconsider the case of the CISF deployment and has registered his strong objections against the deployment of CISF through letters sent to BBMB.
It is understood that BBMB is planning to proceed with the deployment of the CISF despite the strong objections / objections. Even at a previous BBMB meeting on 04.07.2025, Punjab was very strongly objection.
