Punjab Temprary Employee: The Punjab government has decided to appoint ad hoc, contract based, daily wage, work charge and temporary employees working in the state. For this, the Punjab government has prepared a new policy. Under this, employees who have completed 10 years of service will be confirmed.
According to the policy, the employee should fulfill other conditions including educational qualification, post and experience as per the service rules. The employee’s conduct during the last 10 years of service should be satisfactory. Notal breaks will not be considered while calculating the 10 year time limit.
Along with this, let us tell you that this policy will not be applicable to non-eligible employees other than outsourced employees. Beneficiary employees will be appointed in special cadre up to the age of 58 years. Employees will not be placed on cadre post. Employees will not be part of regular cadre as per service rules.
The workers had been demanding for a long time
The government will soon make permanent the employees who have been working temporarily in the state for more than 10 years. Thousands of employees working in different departments have been demanding to be fixed for a long time. In this regard, the employee organizations had also placed their demands with the previous governments. Then even after the formation of Mann’s government in Punjab, the demand of temporary employees to make them permanent intensified.
2200 employees of Punjab will also be permanent
2200 employees of PNB will also be confirmed by the Punjab government. This information was given by Cabinet Minister Lalchand Kataruchak. He said that it has been approved by the Cabinet headed by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Minister Kataruchak has given 6th pay commission to PNB employees. Along with this, guidelines have been given for immediate implementation of the recommendations of the 6th Pay Commission.
