Today the weather will turn on many parts of the country. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the effect of heat will remain in Rajasthan, Gujarat. Also, heat will also increase in parts of 6 states including Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and Punjab.
At the same time, rain and strong winds are expected in 8 states including Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya. These areas may cause thunderstorms at a speed of 40-50 kmph and there is a possibility of lightning.

By 7 April, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Assam, Meghalaya and Andaman-Nicobar may rain with thunderstorms. Hail can also fall in Andhra and parts of the Northeast.
At the same time, heatstroke may remain in western Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Delhi, and parts of Punjab till 9 April. There is a possibility of hailstorm with rain and strong winds in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal and Uttarakhand from 8 April.
