According to the report, on October 27, when the bike-borne miscreants tried to take away the mobile phone from B.Tech student Kirti Singh, who was sitting in the auto, she resisted. After this, miscreants pulled her hand and threw her down from the auto, after which Keerti was dragged on the road for 15 meters.

After getting injured, Kirti was admitted to Yashoda Hospital in Ghaziabad. He had two fractures in his body while his head was also seriously injured. After treatment, the student was admitted to ICU where she died during treatment.

In this case, the Mussoorie police station registered a case and arrested one of the accused, while the other was absconding. This fugitive Jeetu has now been killed by the police in an encounter.
